Time limit
Simple game that I managed to put together in less than a week for https://itch.io/jam/3-gnomes-game-jam-2024.
This is my first prototype/project build with Godot 4.
My best score is 165 (YouTuber Gwizz did 170 on live stream)
Controls: click or hold WSAD / Arrows / Left joystick
- no sounds
- no SFX
- ESC / QUIT GAME ... does not work in the browser, it will freeze/kill the game, no time to fix/change it now #gamejam
Future plans:
- full keyboard control support (done)
- holes in the ground (done)
- falling platforms (done)
- pause menu (done)
- new design (updated, not finished)
- better timings (in progress)
- obstacles (in progress)
- moving enemies
- sounds ...
Even though this game looks really simple it was actually fairly complicated to make this not a spaghetti mess. The code is fairly clean, organized and a lot more complicated than the game looks like. Still, it is my first game in Godot so, I'm happy.

Short but fun. My only issue is I felt I had too much time, a shorter time limit or a slower character might have helped.
I totally agree with you. It's about the final score so the time counts but is not as important. I was working on the game and my 3y old son was trying it so he needed more time. I left it there like that. I'll definitely change the times for each level. Thanks for you comment and I'm glad you liked it.
Fun little puzzle game :)
Yep, perhaps too little. I'll expand on it soon.
