Blood Rush

Horrible rough prototype of a chasing game ...
Just run as a Vampire and kill NPCs. Collect their blood!
But be aware, there is a hunter chasing you ...
That was the idea :D ... well, this is a prototype I put together in just 8h.
This is just my second attempt to create a game in Godot 4.
Originally planned features:
- chase as a Vampire poor NPCs to collect their blood
- evade Hunter who's chasing you!!!
- you get points for each blood you collect
- you loose points for every hit from Hunter
- blood could be used for speed up
- no more blood, you are deeeeead
This prototype was built for Micro Jam 010: Villains
What I've learned:
- basic modeling and animating in MagicaVoxel
- export from MagicaVoxel, reimport to Blender and export for Godot 4
- fixing model origins
- using AnimationPlayer in Godot 4
- logic and math for chasing a player
- logic and math for evading a player
- building custom 3rd person controller
- ... not to join a Game JAM 8h before it ends with high expectations ...

I really liked how it reminded me of old browser games I used to play as a kid. Just feel like it's missing some essentials like sound, feedback, and the ability to die/win.😉
Thanks for testing. As noted on the game page ... this is a very rough prototype made in 8h before the JAM end so ...
I have planned ways how to extend it into a full game but I had not time. I'll "finish" the game after the JAM :)
